Report: Dolphins' Timmons out Week 2, left team after 'something angered him'
Eric Hartline / USA TODAY Sports
Miami Dolphins linebacker Lawrence Timmons won't play Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers after "something angered him" and he left the team, though the Dolphins know his location, the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports.
While whatever incident caused Timmons to leave is unknown at this point, the veteran wasn't arrested and didn't "run afoul of (the) law," added Salguero.
Mike Hull should see an expanded role next to Kiko Alonso in Timmons' absence.
Timmons joined the Dolphins as a free agent this offseason after 10 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
