Charles Tillman is apparently hoping to go from shutting down wide receivers to hunting down fugitives.
The former Chicago Bears cornerback recently begun training to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation, sources told Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.
Tillman earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette before entering the NFL in 2003.
The 36-year-old retired this offseason, signing a one-day contract to officially finish his playing career as a member of the Bears. The two-time Pro Bowler spent 12 of his 13 NFL seasons in Chicago.
