Golden Tate shuts down fan's fantasy football gripe
Raj Mehta / USA TODAY Sports
We're two weeks into the NFL season and fans have already abandoned all fantasy football etiquette.
Following in the footsteps of Odell Beckham Jr. and Martellus Bennett - who shut down fans who complained to them on Twitter about their fantasy stats - Detroit Lions receiver Golden Tate did the same following his Monday night game.
Tate had four catches for 25 yards in a Lions win, but it wasn't enough for one fan:
@ShowtimeTate I needed 9 points going into this game and you only got 6.5. You're no longer my favorite cereal or my WR1

Dear Jameson,

This is the real world, & the @lions won. That's all that matters. Have a great night.
Sincerely,
Golden https://t.co/H80MbInHKY
