Report: Falcons' Sanu out 2-3 weeks with hamstring injury
Jason Getz / USA TODAY Sports
The Atlanta Falcons could be without receiver Mohamed Sanu for two-to-three weeks due to a hamstring injury, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports, citing a source.
Sanu underwent an MRI on Monday morning to determine the severity of the injury and head coach Dan Quinn will address the situation later in the afternoon.
The Falcons have their bye next weekend, and it comes at the right time, as fellow wideout Julio Jones is also battling a hip flexor injury. Jones isn't expected to miss any game action.
Atlanta faces the Miami Dolphins in two weeks, followed by a Super Bowl rematch against the New England Patriots in Week 7.
Sanu has 163 yards and a touchdown through four games this season.
