Bradford returns vs. Bears on MNF

USA TODAY Sports

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford officially made his return to the starting lineup on Monday against the Chicago Bears after missing the previous three games with a knee injury.

The Vikings won in impressive fashion in Bradford's only start this season, thrashing the New Orleans Saints 29-19 on the first Monday nighter of the year. With Case Keenum starting the last three games, Minnesota has posted a 1-2 record and failed to score more than ten points in both losses.

Bradford wasn't the only one returning for the Vikings, as receiver Michael Floyd was active for his first game of the year as well after serving a four-game suspension for a DUI. Bears rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky also made his NFL debut in the contest.
