Report: Colts not planning to place Luck on IR

Putting franchise quarterback Andrew Luck on injured reserve is not in the Indianapolis Colts' plans, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Luck suffered a setback in his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery last week and he is not expected to practice this week. However, the team does not plan to put him on IR, which would force the quarterback to sit for eight weeks, Rapoport reports.
Luck is still expected to play at some point this season, barring any further delays in his recovery.
Luck had returned to practice recently, but developed soreness in his shoulder, requiring a cortisone shot. There is no timetable for his return.
