Michael Irvin is trying to get back on Steve Smith Sr.'s good side after taking a shot at his plaid pants during an NFL Network segment last week.
Smith didn't appear amused by Irvin's joke and threatened to beat him up, making for a tense few seconds of television:

Prior to Thursday night's New York Jets-Buffalo Bills game, Irvin tweeted out a video apology to Smith.
"I am wearing the suit, a whole suit, that looks just like his pants look. I was just having fun with him," Irvin said. "I don't want him to beat me up.
"Steve, you know I love you man. I'm sorry, I really am sorry."
