Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green and Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey won't be suspended for their fight Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, per a league official.
Both players were ejected from the contest after Green wrestled his counterpart to the ground and threw punches. Green said after the game he'd been provoked by Ramsey throughout the afternoon, claiming the Jags star repeatedly threw cheap shots his way.
Green also apologized for losing control of his emotions, but Ramsey went down a different path.
"He was mad because I was locking him up," he said.
Green and Ramsey are still subject to fines from the league.
