Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters left Sunday's game against the New York Jets after throwing a penalty flag into the stands.
Peters vehemently disagreed with a defensive holding penalty called on Chiefs defensive back Steven Nelson, hurling the flag into the stands. It was initially reported he was ejected, but he actually left the game on his own volition and would later return to the sidelines.
After the game, Peters confirmed to ESPN's Josina Anderson that he was not ejected.
