Gronk apologizes for dirty hit, but still frustrated by officiating

Rob Gronkowski regretted taking a late shot at Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White after Sunday's win, though he was not over his frustrations with the officiating that partially led to his actions.

After apologizing for the hit, the New England Patriots star called penalties levied against him and non-called fouls on him by defenders "crazy" following the game.

Gronkowski hit White in the back of the head after the rookie intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter while the Patriots led 23-3. White appeared to interfere with Gronkowski on the play prior to making the interception. Gronkowski was not ejected from the game, instead being issued an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that was wiped out by offsetting fouls.

Bills safety Micah Hyde did not seem impressed by Gronkowski's remorse, telling Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News "apology or not, it was a dirty play."
