Josh Gordon's first regular-season game in almost three years could be characterized as a success, though not a resounding one.

In his return from a suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, the Cleveland Browns receiver caught four passes for 85 yards in a 19-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Gordon was clearly the focal point of the offense, as he was targeted 11 times by quarterback DeShone Kizer. The snag is the two couldn't connect on seven of those plays as the Browns fell to 0-12 on the season.
"We got a lot more work to do," Gordon said after the game, per Pat McManamon of ESPN. "I'm just trying to go out there and make sure I do my job to the best of my ability, try to execute and make sure we have a lot of fun doing it."
The 26-year-old said there wasn't much change on the football field from the last time he was playing.
"Football is what I've been doing my whole life. New stadium ... that's about it," Gordon said.
Gordon's next chance to show off his talents will come in a Week 14 matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
