With a first-round bye no longer on the line, the Los Angeles Rams will rest quarterback Jared Goff and running back Todd Gurley in their regular-season finale versus the San Francisco 49ers.
Head coach Sean McVay made the announcement Wednesday, telling reporters Sean Mannion will draw the start at quarterback, according to NFL Network's Omar Ruiz.
Defensive Player of the Year candidate Aaron Donald will also get the day off.
Goff enjoyed a strong sophomore campaign after struggling through his rookie season, while Gurley is in the thick of the MVP discussion after rushing for 1,305 yards with 13 touchdowns through 15 games.
