Saints remove ping pong table, N64 from locker room for playoffs
The New Orleans Saints have rid their locker room of distractions ahead of Sunday's NFC wild-card matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
Players had a ping pong table, miniature basketball hoop, and Nintendo 64 console that could be used to pass time during the regular season. But come Wednesday, the games had been removed from the locker room, according to Amos Morale of The Times-Picayune.
Saints linebacker Adam Bighill, an avid player of Super Smash Bros., doesn't have an issue with the games being gone.
"It's you win or you are done," he said. "We don't want to have any garbage bags in this locker room. There's no problem putting all the games aside and focusing up for this whole week and just being completely and utterly focused on winning. It's a good thing. It's a good feeling and a good vibe in the locker room."
