There were other noteworthy names in the top 30. Alejandro Villanueva is the rare offensive lineman to break the top 10. The Pittsburgh Steelers tackle attained a new level of popularity after the Army veteran was the only Steeler to stand for the national anthem in a Week 3 game after some miscommunication between he and his team, who elected to stay in the locker room.
Nonetheless, the Steelers had the most players in the top 30, including rookies JuJu Smith-Schuster and T.J. Watt.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo had the 25th most popular jersey despite playing in just six games after his midseason trade.
