Jared Lorenzen wants to join XFL as 'He Ate Me'
"Hefty Lefty" could be headed to the XFL.
Following Thursday's announcement by WWE CEO Vince McMahon that he plans to resurrect the league in 2020, former NFL quarterback Jared Lorenzen let it be known that he wants in. He has the perfect nickname in mind, too.
Well well well, how are you doing over there @VinceMcMahon and @alphaentllc? I see you may be looking for some athletes. I got ya. May be I do have 1 more comeback left me. #HeAteMe

"He Ate Me" is a play on Rod Smart's iconic "He Hate Me" nickname from the original XFL.
Lorenzen is even selling "He Ate Me" T-shirts through his apparel company.
