Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles is likely to return for the 2018 season after breaking his arm and tearing his ACL in September.
Sproles, who is finishing his 13th campaign, doesn't want the injury to be his final moment in the NFL.
"I want to go out on my terms," Sproles said to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Sproles was named to the Pro Bowl from 2014-16 and has established himself as one of the best all-purpose backs in the league.
Ahead of the Super Bowl, all Sproles can do is sit back and watch while he contemplates his professional future.
