The NFL scouting combine doesn't truly get underway until Friday when players take the Lucas Oil Stadium field for positional drills, which run through Monday.
However, there's plenty of action to cover Thursday, including the always-interesting quarterback measurements.
The 2018 class of signal-callers don't have as many questions to answer in terms of their physical standing as in recent years, but with the top of the position still yet to be decided, every small victory could make the difference.
Sam Darnold

Hand 9 3/8
USC's Sam Darnold put to rest any lingering fears about his hand size after racking up 11 fumbles in his final college season, potentially putting him in the lead in the race for the No. 1 overall spot.
Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson: 6'2" -- 216 lbs. -- 9.5" hands
Lamar Jackson, the Heisman winner from Louisville, also passed the dreaded minimal hand-size threshold.
Jackson's durability has come into question due to his perceived slight frame, but the pivot's measurements are sure to ease some concerns.
Baker Mayfield

6’0 5/8
215
Hand 9 1/4
Meanwhile, fellow Heisman Trophy owner Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma wasn't up to his contemporaries' level, but the gunslinger's appeal has always been more about his intangibles rather than his numbers.
Josh Rosen

6’4
226
Hand 9 7/8
UCLA's Josh Rosen is likely Darnold's biggest threat at the top of the draft, and he kept pace with the USC standout after coming in at 6-foot-4 and 226 pounds.

Finally, the polarizing Josh Allen - formerly of Wyoming - lived up to his billing as the most physically imposing quarterback in this class.
For some, Allen's hype is becoming too much.
