Report: Broncos, Cardinals, Jets, Vikings expected to be final 4 for Cousins
The Kirk Cousins sweepstakes are apparently already down to four teams even before free agency begins.
The Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings are expected to be the final four teams vying to secure the Pro Bowl quarterback's services, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Reports about the Broncos' and Jets' strong interest in Cousins have already leaked. Denver is believed to be "all-in" on pursuing the longtime Washington Redskins starter, while New York is apparently willing to pay "whatever it takes" to sign him.
Cousins teased the Cardinals by posting a selfie with Larry Fitzgerald on Friday, though it could be hard for Arizona to match the contracts the other three teams are capable of offering.
Finally, Minnesota's three quarterbacks from 2017 - Case Keenum, Sam Bradford, and Teddy Bridgewater - are all out of contract this offseason, and the Vikings reportedly don't plan to franchise tag Keenum following a breakout campaign.
