Report: Jarvis Landry to sign franchise tag
It appears Jarvis Landry will accept the franchise tag after all.
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver informed the team that he will sign the $15.98-million tag, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The news comes at an odd time, as Landry released a 10-minute video Saturday morning detailing why he does not want to play under the franchise tag.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that once the receiver is under contract, he can be traded, although a trade is not close at this time.

Landry led the NFL with 112 receptions in 2017 but was unable to eclipse the 1,000-yard plateau. It was his third straight season with at least 94 catches.
Rapoport reports that multiple teams still view the former second-round pick as the top wide receiver on the market, but it remains to be seen if any of those clubs are willing to part with assets to acquire his cap hit.
