After reportedly signing his franchise tag on Thursday, Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry is eligible to be traded, and more than two teams are already poking around for a deal.
While a trade does not appear imminent, the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens are among teams interested in trading for the wide receiver, reports Adam H. Beasley and Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
For a team to acquire Landry, they would almost certainly need to have a long-term deal in place before agreeing to the trade, which would not be able to become official until the new league year starts on March 14.
Landry is currently set to make just under $16 million on the franchise tag in 2018 and wants a long-term deal in the range of $14 million per year. With the Dolphins pressed up against the wall for cap space, getting Landry off their books may be a high priority.
