The Oakland Raiders signed cornerback Rashaan Melvin on Friday.
Terms were not revealed by the Raiders but Melvin agreed to a one-year, $6.5-million contract Friday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a source.
The 28-year-old recorded 36 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and three interceptions in 10 games with the Indianapolis Colts during the 2017 season.
Melvin is expected to immediately start at outside cornerback alongside 2017 first-round pick Gareon Conley. Oakland also signed cornerback Shareece Wright on Friday to improve its defensive-back rotation.
