In New York Giants co-owner John Mara's first public comments about a viral video featuring star receiver Odell Beckham, Mara suggested the player's off-field conduct isn't helping his cause as he seeks a lucrative, long-term deal.

In early March, a video surfaced showing Beckham in a bed sitting next to a woman. The object he was holding was unidentifiable, but the woman appeared to be holding a credit card with a white substance on it.

Mara was asked Sunday for his reaction to the video and its potential effect on a long-term deal with the Giants.

"I guess my response to that is I'm tired of answering questions about Odell's behavior," Mara said, according to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post. "He knows what's expected of him and now it's up to him."

Asked if it was possible Beckham would be a member of another team in 2018, Mara seemed reticent to lock himself into any guarantees about his star player's future.

"I can't answer that one way or the other," Mara said, according to ESPN's Kevin Seifert. "We're certainly not shopping him. Again, when you're coming off a season when you're 3-13 and played as poorly as we played, I wouldn't say that anyone is untouchable."

Beckham is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is due to command a massive deal. He's said he's looking to become the highest-paid player in the NFL.
