The Tennessee Titans signed free-agent quarterback Blaine Gabbert to fill a backup role, the team announced Tuesday. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
He'll immediately slot in behind franchise quarterback Marcus Mariota.
The 28-year-old spent last season with the Arizona Cardinals, where he got in five starts as the No. 3 behind Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton.
Gabbert threw for 1,086 yards, six touchdowns, and eight interceptions in his limited action in 2017.
Alex Tanney and Tyler Ferguson fill out the remainder of the Titans' depth chart at the quarterback position.
