Peyton Manning has rejected FOX's offer to be the lead analyst for Thursday Night Football, sources told The New York Post's Andrew Marchand.
The two-time Super Bowl winner also reportedly turned down a similar role with ESPN and its Monday Night Football coverage. Both companies were reportedly willing to offer Manning around $10 million per year.
It remains unclear what Manning's next football-related career step will be after opting against broadcasting - at least for now.
It's long been speculated that the retired quarterback wants to ultimately land a John Elway-like executive role with a team.
