It appears to be the end of the NFL road - again - for Jay Cutler, at least according to his wife, Kristin Cavallari.
Cavallari told SiriusXM's "The Jenny McCarthy Show" that Cutler has "a few offers on the table," but she believes her husband is finished playing football.
"It's not official. But yeah," she said, according to TMZ Sports. "... I think he's done."
Cutler said he wants to play in 2018, but won't accept a backup job.
The 34-year-old took a gig with FOX as an in-game analyst last offseason, but ended his retirement when the Miami Dolphins came calling following Ryan Tannehill's season-ending injury in camp.
However, Cutler produced one of the worst seasons of his career and the Dolphins went 6-10.
