Von Miller part of investigation after posting pictures with caught shark

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is part of an investigation by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), according to ESPN.
Miller was recently on a guided fishing tour off the coast of Miami, from which he shared photos via Instagram, posing with a nine-and-a-half foot hammerhead shark.
He has since deleted the post, but it can be seen below.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) saw the posts and vowed "to ensure that Miller is held accountable if killing this animal was, as we suspect, illegal."
Hammerhead sharks are a "group 3" shark, according to the FWC and their harvest in state waters carries penalties of up to a $500 fine and 60 days in jail.
