Howard removes Bears pictures from Instagram, fuels trade rumors
Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard has reignited trade rumors.
While he remains with the Bears as the free-agent running back market dries up, the third-year player removed all pictures of himself related to the team from his Instagram account this week, reports Lorin Cox of Bears Wire.
However, nothing is happening on the Howard trade front, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
With the Bears looking to retool their offense for head coach Matt Nagy, the running back was recently named in a reported trade with the Dolphins for wide receiver Jarvis Landry that was quickly shot down. Landry was later traded to the Cleveland Browns.
Howard has totaled 2,435 rushing yards, 423 receiving yards, and 16 touchdowns over his first two seasons in Chicago, though there have been questions regarding how he'll fit into Nagy's system. Tarik Cohen, who racked up 723 total yards and three touchdowns in his rookie season, is expected to fulfill a larger role in his sophomore campaign.
