Super Bowl 'Selfie Kid' hangs out with Julian Edelman, Justin Timberlake
The "Selfie Kid" who stole the spotlight during the Super Bowl LII halftime show reunited with Justin Timberlake and met New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman in Boston on Wednesday night.
Massachusetts native Ryan McKenna was attending the first of Timberlake's two concerts at TD Garden when he met up with the pop star and Edelman backstage.
"I went into Justin's dressing room and he like surprised me - jumped out," the 13-year-old told Melissa Buja of NBC10 Boston. "And he was like, 'What's up man?!' And then we took another selfie. And then Patriots players came in - Julian Edelman, which was so cool because I'm a huge Patriots fan."

McKenna became an instant meme after snapping a photo with Timberlake in the middle of his halftime performance. The teen later explained the reason he was so focused on his phone was because it had shut off.
