Cowboys boost pass rush by signing Kony Ealy

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms with pass-rusher Kony Ealy, the team announced.
Ealy signed a one-year deal, according to Field Yates of ESPN.
The 26-year-old had just one sack for the New York Jets last season, but racked up 14 from 2014-16 while with the Carolina Panthers.
While the defensive end has failed to live up to expectations after recording three sacks in Super Bowl 50, he should provide depth to a Cowboys pass rush that tied for 15th in quarterback takedowns in 2017.
