The New Orleans Saints are set to acquire wide receiver Cameron Meredith after the Chicago Bears declined to match the two-year, $10-million offer sheet the restricted free agent signed last week, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Bears' decision was based on concern over Meredith's ability to fully recover from a torn ACL and MCL that caused him to miss all of 2017, according to Schefter.
Meredith, an undrafted free agent signed by the Bears out of Illinois State in 2015, played 25 games over his first two seasons. He caught 77 of 113 targets for 1,008 yards and four touchdowns.
