Arizona Cardinals star running back David Johnson is hyped for the 2018 season.

Appearing on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio, Johnson expressed confidence in his new quarterback, Sam Bradford, and his team's offense.

"We’re going to be great if Sam Bradford is healthy," Johnson told Adam Schein on Wednesday. "Not just with the addition of him, but also the linemen we got, the receivers, and everyone else that we have added to the team on the offensive side, we definitely will be the top offense in the league this year."

Arizona's offseason quarterback addition was not met with acclaim in league circles, but Johnson is excited for what Bradford brings to the table.

"For me, watching him personally, I’ve seen him do some great things," said Johnson. "I think the biggest thing is just being healthy."

The 2016 scrimmage-yards leader appeared in just one game in 2017, injuring his wrist in the Cardinals' Week 1 road loss to the Detroit Lions.

A healthy Johnson will return to a new-look offense in Arizona with first-year head coach Steve Wilks and new offensive coordinator Mike McCoy. The team added offensive linemen Justin Pugh and Andre Smith, and receiver Brice Butler in addition to Bradford in free agency. The Cardinals owned the league's 25th-ranked scoring offense in 2017.
