The Cleveland Browns and recently acquired wide receiver Jarvis Landry are close to finalizing a five-year, $75.5-million contract extension with $47 million in guarantees, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The slot receiver's average yearly salary of just over $15 million is the fifth-highest at his position, according to Spotrac.
Cleveland traded a fourth- and a seventh-round pick to the Dolphins in exchange for Landry after he and Miami couldn't agree to a long-term deal.
Landry has produced over 4,000 yards since being drafted in the second round in 2014, and his 400 receptions are the most by any receiver through their first four seasons in the league.
