Report: Patriots teammates have spoken with Brady about upcoming season
It's business as usual for Tom Brady, according to a pair of New England Patriots teammates.
Two Patriots informed Michael Giardi of NBC Sports Boston that they've had discussions with their quarterback, which have included preparations for the upcoming season. Brady has also never indicated to them that he plans to retire.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday morning that Brady has yet to commit to returning for the 2018 season, though those close to him believe he'll keep playing.
Brady has thus far missed the Patriots' voluntary offseason workout program, as he was recently in Qatar with his family. His teammates say he continues to follow his workout regimen and diet, even when he was away.
Both Brady's and tight end Rob Gronkowski's future with the Patriots has been the subject of much discussion early in the offseason, but neither camp has provided word that they won't be back in Foxborough when required.
