Rob Gronkowski appears to be enjoying all the fuss over his playing future.
The New England Patriots tight end spoke from a podium at the team facility for a marketing event and was asked about rumors he's mulling retirement from football.
"(The fans) are gonna see a freak-a-leak when I come back," Gronkowski said, according to Jeff Howe of The Athletic.
Gronk was then asked if that confirmed he's coming back for the 2018 season.
"Maybe," he said.
The atmosphere at the press conference was decidedly light.
Both Gronkowski and quarterback Tom Brady have been teasing fans and reporters about their playing statuses all offseason. Brady is reportedly seeking a new contract ahead of the upcoming season.
