A woman who told police in 2017 that Oakland Raiders corner Gareon Conley raped her has filed a civil lawsuit against him, TMZ Sports has learned.
Two days before last year's NFL draft, the then-23-year-old woman said Conley raped her at a Cleveland hotel on April 9. However, a grand jury dismissed the case without charges in July.
She reportedly claims in the suit that she "sustained serious physical, psychological, emotional, and mental injuries" in her encounter with Conley. She's seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
Conley was the Raiders' 24th pick of the 2017 draft.
