Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson received an unexpected letter from the team on Monday.
Johnson, who played for the Chiefs from 2003-09, apparently forgot to cash a check for $1,238.11 back in 2010, which the franchise would like to get off its books.
This is a first.....I’ve never gotten a letter from an Ex before telling me I left money at their house.

Surprisingly, Johnson isn't the first NFL player to make this mistake. Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon found a six-figure check while he was moving in 2016:
My gal just found a game check, I guess moving does have its perks ha
