Eric Reid files collusion grievance against NFL
Unemployed safety Eric Reid, who protested during the national anthem alongside Colin Kaepernick in 2016, has filed a collusion grievance against the NFL after failing to find a new team this offseason, as first reported by ESPN's Dan Graziano.
Reid is being represented by Mark Geragos, the same lawyer hired by Kaepernick in his own lawsuit against the league, added Graziano.
Despite producing a solid season with the San Francisco 49ers in 2017, the 26-year-old has received minimal interest on the open market.

Reid has stated he doesn't intend to kneel during the anthem next season, but only the Cincinnati Bengals have brought in the safety for a visit.
Kaepernick filed his grievance in October 2017 after he, too, was unable to land on an NFL roster.
Commissioner Roger Goodell and team owners Jerry Jones and Bob McNair have been deposed in the case.
