Deal or no deal: Browns, Kendricks reportedly agree to contract after all

Ron Chenoy / USA TODAY Sports

Mychal Kendricks' Sunday came full circle, as the linebacker agreed to a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns, according to Yahoo Sports' Jordan Schultz.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Kendricks can make more than $3 million in 2018.

It's been an odd day for the former Philadelphia Eagles defender. Kendricks reportedly agreed to a contract with the Browns on Sunday afternoon, but he refuted it soon after.

It now appears the deal is going forward, with Schultz, Rapoport, and Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press confirming the agreement.

The Browns haven't announced the deal yet, leaving room for more excitement and uncertainty. Kendricks isn't exactly making the situation easier either.

Signing the 27-year-old would add to a talented linebacker corps in Cleveland. He would slot in alongside Jamie Collins, Christian Kirksey, and Joe Schobert.
