Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has launched a new charitable initiative to help feed people in need.

Wentz announced Friday that his AO1 Foundation partnered with The Connect Church in Cherry Hill, N.J. on a food truck called "Thy Kingdom Crumb," which will distribute free food to people in the Philadelphia area. The truck is scheduled to begin operation in August.

"The goal is to provide something different, to provide the atmosphere to just love on people," Wentz said, according to Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia. "I think things that are free these days are kind of confusing. There's no strings attached with this. I think people will just see and experience something different with that."

Wentz unveiled the truck during his inaugural AO1 Foundation charity softball game at Citizens Bank Park.
