NFL community reacts to death of Dwight Clark
The NFL community lost one of its members Monday when San Francisco 49ers legend Dwight Clark died after a battle with ALS.
Clark was not only a two-time Super Bowl champion, but a respected man off the field. Here are some of the reactions from around the NFL.

Dwight Clark may have been the most humble star the NFL has ever produced. Yes he was fun and funny, but Dwight had an innate goodness to him that will never be forgotten by those who had the good fortune to know him. May God bless Dwight and his family.

I was on sidelines for The Catch. 8 years later at SB24 after SF beat DEN 55-10, I waited for taxi back to hotel. One pulls up, window rolls down. "Get in Gil!" It was Dwight Clark. I told him how he broke my ❤. We laughed. All was good between us. Dwight made sure of it. RIP.
