In their search for a pass-rusher to replace DeMarcus Ware, the Denver Broncos appear to be turning to ... DeMarcus Ware.
The Broncos are hiring the former linebacker as a pass-rushing consultant, a source informed ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Ware won his lone Super Bowl ring with the Broncos in 2015 and formed a dynamic duo with Von Miller from 2014-2016. Together, they racked up 60 sacks in those three seasons.
Last season, Denver finished 22nd in the league in sacks with 33.
Ware, hired on a part-time basis, would likely oversee the development of fourth-year pro Shane Ray and first-round draft pick Bradley Chubb.
