Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has acquired the services of an experienced lawyer after his ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, was beaten during a home robbery and suggested McCoy was involved.

McCoy reportedly hired Atlanta-based defense attorney Don Samuel, a source told Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports.
Samuel has worked with NFL players before, having previously been part of the team representing former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis in a double-homicide case in 2000. Samuel also served on the legal team for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in 2010 when he was investigated for sexual assault.
The attorney is known for mounting an "aggressive on-the-ground investigation" and for "shaping the narrative for public consumption," according to Robinson.
