The New England Patriots are looking for a team interested in trading for wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
After a strong rookie season in 2016 when he caught 32 passes for 401 yards and a touchdown, helping the Patriots win Super Bowl LI, Mitchell missed the entire 2017 season due to a knee injury.
With Mitchell reportedly on the trade block, it appears Jordan Matthews, Chris Hogan, and Kenny Britt will compete for increased reps to begin 2018 as Julian Edelman sits out four games due to a suspension.
