The Cleveland Browns continue to communicate their interest in recruiting free agent Dez Bryant, but a meeting has yet to be scheduled between the two parties, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Browns general manager John Dorsey told reporters last week that his team had discussed acquiring the wide receiver. A report Friday stated Cleveland and the former Dallas Cowboys wideout were discussing a one-year contract and had a meeting lined up for Monday.
Bryant's recent Twitter rant will not affect the Browns' interest in him, per Garafolo.
All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown recently lobbied for Bryant to join the Pittsburgh Steelers, but an agreement between the two is apparently not in the cards.
