Darnold's four-year deal is worth a fully guaranteed $30.25 million and includes a $20-million signing bonus, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The contract negotiations were reportedly held up by a dispute over an offset clause that would absolve the team from paying his full salary if he was cut and then signed elsewhere.
The 21-year-old will compete with veterans Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater for the starting job.
Chicago Bears linebacker Roquan Smith is the last rookie first-rounder who remains unsigned.
