Free-agent guard Richie Incognito hopes to enter politics once his playing days are over.
Incognito spoke about his plans for the future in an interview with TMZ Sports.
"I'm all about the land of opportunity. I'm about enriching everybody in America. And, you know, hopefully one day run for public office," he said. "I see myself as a public servant now, now that I'm done playing. I love it. I want to be a politician."
Incognito, who was named an ambassador of the anti-bullying nonprofit group Boo2Bullying earlier this month, went on to describe politics as his "passion."
The 35-year-old announced his retirement in April, but then backtracked on the decision and asked for his release from the Buffalo Bills.
