Report: Saints sign Michael Floyd
The New Orleans Saints have signed veteran wide receiver Michael Floyd, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Floyd played sparingly for the Minnesota Vikings last season, catching 10 passes for 78 yards in 11 games after being suspended to start the year for a DUI in December 2016.
The 28-year-old was originally selected 13th overall by the Arizona Cardinals in 2012 and emerged as a reliable secondary threat in the passing game. Floyd's best season came in 2013, when he recorded 65 receptions for 1,041 yards and five touchdowns.
He also played for the New England Patriots in 2016 after being released from Arizona following his DUI, but was inactive for the team's Super Bowl victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
New Orleans also signed fellow wide receiver Brandon Tate on Tuesday, according to Nick Underhill of The New Orleans Advocate.
