Report: Baldwin could miss entire preseason
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin could miss the entire preseason, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Field Yates.
Doctors are reportedly confident that Baldwin will be able to return for the start of the regular season.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told reporters Tuesday that Baldwin's injury is "a little bit of a problem."
Baldwin serves as the focal point of the Seahawks' passing game, establishing himself as Russell Wilson's most reliable and productive target.
The 29-year-old posted 75 receptions for 991 yards and eight touchdowns during the 2017 campaign, earning his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection.
Baldwin led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 2015, earning second-team All-Pro honors.
If Baldwin misses time during the regular season, Brandon Marshall and Tyler Lockett will be competing for increased targets.
