Kamara says Saints would've beat Eagles, takes shot at Vikings

Running back Alvin Kamara is still trying to process one of the crazier plays of last season, when his New Orleans Saints were eliminated by the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC divisional round on a Hail Mary touchdown by receiver Stefon Diggs.

In an extensive profile with Bleacher Report's Master Tesfatsion, Kamara gave his take on the play, since dubbed the Minneapolis Miracle, which erased an incredible comeback by the Saints that had them poised to advance.

"It's a certain point where you f---ing just do everything could do, and sh-- still don't go your way," Kamara said. "That's how I felt about that game. I felt like we did everything. We came all the way back (from 17 down at halftime), and then sh-- just happened like that. That's like some one-in-a-million-type sh--.

"I couldn't even be mad. I was mad, of course, but it was like how does that even f---ing happen? That's not even real. It's almost not realistic, like what the f---?"

Kamara also believes the Saints would've knocked off the eventual Super Bowl champion Eagles, who ended up crushing the Vikings in the next round.

"We'd beat the sh-- out of (the Eagles) cause we was rolling," Kamara said. "If we won (versus Minnesota), I knew nobody was gonna stop us cause we came all the way back."

And the 23-year-old is just as confident about the upcoming season.

"We know what the standard is," Kamara said before pausing. "So, yeah, f--- Minnesota."
