Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs and cornerback Xavier Rhodes say their skirmish in Tuesday's practice session is in the rearview mirror.

The two were benched for Wednesday's practice with head coach Mike Zimmer explaining, "they did not make me happy."

"We go at it, but it’s all love," Diggs told reporters Thursday, according to John Shipley of the Pioneer Press. "It’s a family thing here."

"It was just the competitive nature in us," said Rhodes. "I didn’t want to lose. He didn’t want to lose. ... It’s stuff like that if you have a sibling you grow up with and he does something you don’t like and then something tends to go off."

The Vikings and two of their biggest stars can begin taking frustrations out on opposition when they open their preseason Saturday against the Denver Broncos.
